CHAPTER 1 : GET READY TO LEARN📚✌
As a student we need to realize that we have entered the universe where we need to be wise in determining something good or bad. We need to became more responsible arrange our life in university. We need to be positive student and mind to solve our routine correctly even study in ODL . We cannot to be childish and lazy. In real university life there have no one will take care of you even your family. So today I'm going to share a tips to become a successful student.
8 STEPS TO COLLEGE
👉ATTEND ALL CLASSES
❤ As a student, we must attend all the classes without any reason. If we never skip the class, our lecturer will always remember and recognize us. Not only that, most our exam question has been made by our own lecturer.
❤We can’t only read the books or notes by our lecturer for a couple time if we did not understand. We should try our best to find a notes about the topic in any way. So that we will understand clearly about the topic that has been discuss with our lecturer.
👉PARTICIPATE IN CLASS
❤Be an active student in the class, which is always ask the lecturer any question if we did not understand. Do not care what people say because it for ourself, if they did not want just let them be. Also give a feedback if the lecturer ask for any question or anything.
👉GET TO KNOW YOUR LECTURER
❤ Get to approach our own lecturer. Don’t be shy. Approach them like we approach to someone that we admire or we love. So that, if anything happen, we won’t ask the wrong lecturer.
👉FORM STUDY GROUP WITH FRIENDS
❤This is one of the big key to success in college. There a quotes said ‘ If you want to go fast, go alone. But If you want to go fast and far, go together ‘. So, we must take this big opportunity to achieve the best academic at college with our friends. Create a study group which is only 4-5 person in one group and discuss any topic together.
👉STAY UP TO DATE WITH YOUR HOMEWORK
❤As a college student, we should not procrastinated our work or presentation. Like this time, we are having a ODL, so that we will not have any group project and final exam. We just got a lot of assignment to finished it and submit it before the due date that has been given. So, we can’t postpone the work and always up to date with the work.
👉BE RECEPTIVE TO CHANGE
❤ Do some changes in our study stratigies which is we can see the progress for our preformance day by day or week by week. It will be hard but the result must been really great.
👉WORK HARD THIS SEMESTER
❤The most important thing. We must remember that we must make all people around us proud especially our parents. We must work hard no matter what happened, and always set up in mind that the failure is the big step to success and can achieve all the goals that we have create.
MAKING THE TRANSITION (FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY)
Make the moves transition from high school to university is not as easy as we think.Student need to make a new friend that can make him or her feel comfortable at new place.

❤ I want to achieve at least 3.0 GCPA , so that I will pass this semester with flying and make my family proud with me.I'm also will do my best to get better result in the next semester

❤Because this is my new life as a student diploma , I want to do my best to achieve my goal.I will leave my bad habits such as lazy and do the work in last minutes.

Hi and Salam UiTM dihatiku, starting life as university student is really fun and challenging too. This is my first class learning of study skills (UED102) and we need to do an ice-breaking session for getting to know our friends and adjusting to life in a college. Ice breaking is a small activity in a program which is useful to make student can introduce one another and feel comfortable in their new environment.
This is our first activity that we must include inside our E-Portfolio which is we need to pick one name in our class and get their biodata. So, I'm decided to choose Alimin Shauki as my partner to do an ice breaking with her. We had a good conversation in chat, and started to be more closer by day to day.

HOBBIES:BADMINTON AND VIDEO GAMES
WHERE DO ALIMIN COME FROM AND WHY HE CHOOSE UITM?
-Alimin come from Kuala Nerus, Terengganu and he choose UITM because the university is one of the study place that he have in his list.His senior also told him that Uitm is the best place if he want to continue his studies without worrying about the fee. One of Alimin's senior also continues his studies at the same university and his senior told him that its the best place to further her studies based on her hobbies in faculty science and recreation.
WHAT HAVE ALIMIN ENJOYED THE MOST SO FAR ABOUT BEING AT UITM?
-So far, he and his friends are still cannot meet each other because of the covid19 condition that getting worst day by day. But, he still enjoyed being at Uitm even in the online. He have given a chance to get know more about her new friends, new environment, and new lecturer. He is so grateful because all of her friends are really nice. His friends are not hypocrite and always help each other especially her classmates which is SR1131F . Alimin and her friends are always having a discuss together about the topic that he and his friends didn't understand since they are having a online distance learning class.
WHAT ARE ALIMIN LOOKING FORWARD ABOUT BEING AT UITM?
-He is looking forward about him and his friends are going to have face to face session as soon as possible because if its keep happened in ODL, its hard to him and his friends to ask their lecturer about what they do not understand in their class. Yes, they still can ask lecturer in whatsapp, facebook or etc, but it did not the same if they ask lecturer by face to face so that, lecturer can explain clearly to Alimin and his friends. He also looking forward about him can make assignment with his friend at the university, not at the home, or online platform.
WHAT ARE ALIMIN NERVOUS ABOUT?
-He nervous about his pointer that he will get soon. He also nervous about the assesment that has been given by their lecture from all subject. There is too much, so he afraid that he not be able to finished it on the time that has been set by lecturer.
WHAT DO ALIMIN MISS?
-He miss the school environment, teachers , schoolmate, classmates and etc. The one that he really missed right now is his teachers. They had been help him a lot in his studies until Alimin got the result that he never expect. His teacher is the one of his best supporters in whatever that he doing because his teacher said Alimin is the person that can do anything not only in education, also in cocuriculum. He also miss his classmates that always make him happy when he sad and be her backbone at his school.
WHAT DO KHALEEDA SEE HERSELF 10 YEARS FROM NOW?
-He will achieve all of his dreams. One of it which is being the awesome sport teacher. It is his big dream from school until now. Other than that, he want to be the best athlete and represent our Malaysia in rugby. He also wish that he can be a successful person in whatever he do with his parents blessed also Allah SWT. He want to have a good job, and stable financial so that he can make his family proud with him and he can repay his parents made for him. After that, he will think about his future wife and get married with him which is someone can accept his sincerely.
That is all about Alimin . He is my new classmate and I am so happy to know him because he is a kind and smart person. Thankyou for reading and hope you are also happy to know him . ❤
